This was a great birthday gift for my boyfriend...I think it was his favorite one! He saw the world's largest gummy bear on a tv show and thought it was pretty cool, so I just had to get him one. When he opened it, his eyes lit up! It's not just for kids, as he turned 29. After telling my sister about it, she ordered a tri-colored one for my niece's 17th birthday. My mom told a candy shop owner who she knows, and the woman decided to order some for her shop! So it's obviously a very popular item that many people can enjoy.
The only reason that I didn't give the gummy bear 5 stars is because it is quite difficult to cut and can be a little hard to chew, as it is so thick. But you really wouldn't want it to be any less thick, and it does have good flavor. So it's still a great item and makes a perfect gift, especially for those hard to shop for people!

I bought the giant gummy bear for a four year old who is addicted to gummy bears. The night was pretty fantastic when a few friends came over and a whole gaggle of us made nacho tacos, tie dyed some shirts and had the worlds largest and most delicious gummy bear for dessert. This is a nice one time surprise novel idea however it is impossible to eat this entire gummy bear even over the course of a few month, possibly a year? Taste is good. Weight is not 5 pounds more like 4.5 pounds yet advertised as 5 pounds. I don't think I would get this again but it was fun for a one time shock value for my kids which are now 10 years old. They got tired of this really fast though.

This gummy bear was the best Valentines gift I've given. My boyfriend loved it! Its an almost exact replica of an "average" sized gummy bear and extremely delicious... The cherry one I ordered was rrrrreally good, taste was not lacking. When it did arrive one ear was a bit drooped but I do not have any other complaints.

I sent this to my daughter for her birthday. Much of the college dorm dropped by just to see it. It was a great ice-breaker, excellent conversation piece and made her very popular. She said it was tougher than your average bear and they had a hard time slicing it into pieces.

I sent it to my boyfriend who lives in another state because he loves gummy bears. Over the next couple weeks he ate the whole thing! He said it tasted really good and loved the size of it.

I got this for my hubby for Valentines because he loves gummy bears! He LOVED it. Everyone I showed it to loved it. It was a super hit!!

I got this for a candy lover and he thought it was the greatest thing. So funny to watch them open it. But after the first shock of the thing, it is mostly downhill. He's cut of a small chunk of it but mainly, he'll eat pretty much any other candy before he'll go to eat that. The bag they say it comes with is just a bag they ship in, doesn't close again so you have to find something else to put it in. You end up paying around $40 for this so I don't really think it is worth it.

I gave this as a ramdom Valentine's Day gift her reaction was totally worth it. Chocolates are for chumps and they're boring, 5 pounds of gummy bear now that says I love you.

I sent the giant gummy bears to family members from 7 years old to 25 years old, and they all loved them! Lots of pictures and comments on facebook when they were received!

It was the perfect candy choice for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day since he doesn't like chocolate. He actually told me last night that he's almost done with it and is actually kind of upset about it. I didn't however like the price too much. Maybe that's just me though

This gummy bear is pretty amazing-looking. It's enormous, truly weighs five pounds and has such great presence. I'm seriously considering shellacing mine and keeping it as a cool decorative piece in the house. I haven't tasted it yet but it looks delish. My boyfriend LOVES it.

Our toddler grandson loves the Gummy Bear Song and was really happy to get this giant gummy bear. He and his 4 brothers and sisters shared in the eating of it.

Best novelty gift ever. It is an oversized massive gummy bear...who wouldn't love it? It tasted great and lasted about two weeks in a house with 2 teenagers.
